Blazer

Hi! I am Blazer, and I am a Jack Russell Terrier. If you have ever seen Wishbone, you will know that he and I are the same kind of dog. I am 12 years old, which some people think is kind of old for a dog, but not really for a terrier. My brother Polo lived to be 17!!! I live with several other Jack Russell Terriers, and we have all been trained to do agility. I am my mommy's agility star. I have THREE Agility Championships (that is a pretty big deal!). I really love agility (tunnels are my favorite), but my mom says now that I am getting older I can't play agility as much as I used to. So, we have decided to spend some time with YOU, our friends at the library and schools, because I LOVE kids and love to have you read to me. I love kids so much that I even starred in a play with children, called ANNIE, several years ago. I had to memorize my lines and cues and then I had to go on stage every night for 7 whole weeks and play my part of "Sandy the dog" in ANNIE the play. It was great fun and I made friends with all of the children starring with me. I have also been on television several times not only doing agility on Animal Planet, but also in some commercials. My mom says I have "talent", but it is all just fun stuff to me. I look forward to reading together, and look forward to seeing you soon.
