My name is Mandy and I am part Golden Retriever and part Yellow Lab. I look mostly like a Golden, don’t you think?

   I came to live with my Mom and Dad when I was almost 2 years old. Before that, I had lots of obedience training. They wanted me to be a helper dog, but all those slippery floors were too scary for me when I was younger.

    I enjoy visiting the people who live in Nursing Homes. They can’t have their own dogs anymore, so they love to pet me and tell me I’m so soft and beautiful. My tail wags a lot there.

    It’s especially a lot fun to visit kids and have them read me stories. Sometimes I even get a tummy rub - mmm - my favorite thing!
